Activate apps
How AppsTint apps work after install — activate before you configure or use any feature.
AppsTint includes five apps in one — Delivery Calendar, Upsell & Cross-sell, Document Printer, Store Protection, and Shipping Labels. After you install AppsTint, every app starts deactivated. Nothing runs on your storefront, checkout, or order workflows until you turn an app on.
This keeps your store safe: installing AppsTint will not suddenly change checkout or add blocks customers see by accident.
The Apps grid
- Open Apps → AppsTint in your Shopify admin.
- You land on the Apps home — a grid of all five apps.
- Each card shows Deactivated until you activate it.
Activate an app
- Find the app you want (for example Delivery Calendar).
- Click Activate.
- The card updates and shows Open app.
- Click Open app to configure it.
Deactivate an app
- On the Apps grid, click Deactivate on an active app.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deactivating immediately stops that app:
- Its admin pages redirect back to the Apps grid
- Storefront and checkout extensions show nothing
- Background rules (for example order screening) stop running
Your settings and data are kept — re-activate any time and everything is still there.
Which apps need theme or checkout setup?
