Create a calendar
Each delivery calendar is its own schedule with its own available days, capacity, rules, and display options. Most stores start with one calendar; add more when different product groups need different delivery schedules (for example, fresh vs frozen goods).
Open the calendar list
- In your Shopify admin open Apps → AppsTint.
- Click Delivery Calendar.
- You'll see all the calendars for your store.
Create a new calendar
- Click Add calendar.
- Enter a name — this is how you'll recognise the calendar, and it's used to label the delivery date on the order (for example, "Frozen delivery").
- Save.
The first calendar you create becomes your default calendar, which applies to all products unless you assign products to a more specific calendar.
Calendar tabs
After you open a calendar, you'll see tabs across the top:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Settings | Available days, capacity, time slots, and display options |
| Exceptions | Block or change specific dates |
| Time slots | Adjust time slots for specific dates |
| Rules | Show or hide a calendar based on what's in the cart |
| Limits | Extra capacity limits (per week or month, or for specific products) |
| Products | Assign products to this calendar |
| Orders | See your orders laid out by delivery date |
| Tester | Preview which dates a sample cart would see |
Default vs additional calendars
- Default calendar — used for any product that isn't assigned to a more specific calendar.
- Additional calendars — used when you assign products to them (see Product and item calendars) or when a rule turns them on for certain carts.
When an order contains products from more than one calendar, each calendar can have its own delivery date on the same order.
The delivery date on your orders
When you create a calendar, AppsTint automatically sets up a delivery date field on your orders for it. This means the chosen date shows up as a proper, dated field on the order in your Shopify admin — and you can use it in Shopify Flow, order filters, and exports. You don't need to set anything up for this; it happens for you.
Delete a calendar
Deleting a calendar stops it being offered going forward. Delivery dates already saved on past orders are kept, so your order history and reports stay intact.
