Stop fake COD orders and order bots with automatic screening.
Store Protection screens every new order as it is created and applies rules you configure — blocklists, velocity limits, and one-order-per-IP — to catch fraud and bot traffic before you fulfil.
What you get
- Automatic screening on
orders/create— no theme or checkout setup - Velocity rules — flag or cancel when too many orders share an IP, email, or phone in a short window
- One order per IP — stop repeat checkouts from the same address
- Blocklist — IP, email, phone, and address keyword matching
- COD-focused mode — screen Cash on Delivery orders only (recommended default)
- Protection log — see what was caught, cancelled, or flagged
How it works
- You activate Store Protection on the AppsTint Apps grid.
- You enable rules and set actions (Flag or Cancel).
- When Shopify creates an order, AppsTint evaluates it in milliseconds.
- If a rule trips, the order is tagged or cancelled on Shopify and logged in the protection log.
Cancel immediately cancels the order on Shopify. Start with Flag while you tune thresholds, then switch to Cancel when confident.
