Availability, cutoffs and time slots
Open Apps → AppsTint → Delivery Calendar → your calendar → Settings.
Settings are grouped into cards. This page covers Availability, Time slots, and Display.
Availability
Controls which dates appear in the picker.
Delivery days
Check the weekdays customers can select (Mon–Sun). Unchecked days never appear as selectable dates.
Example: A bakery open Wed–Sat checks Wednesday through Saturday only.
Cutoff time
Orders placed after the cutoff on a given day cannot select the earliest available date — they must pick a later date.
Example: Cutoff 14:00 with 1-day lead time means an order at 3pm Tuesday cannot select Wednesday; the first available date is Thursday.
Timezone
The cutoff and slot times use this timezone. Defaults to your store timezone. Change it if your fulfillment team operates in a different zone than your Shopify store setting.
Lead time (days)
Minimum number of days between today and the first selectable date.
0— same-day delivery possible (subject to cutoff)1— earliest date is tomorrow2— earliest date is two days from now
Booking window (days)
How far into the future customers can book, counting from the first available date.
Example: Lead time 1 + booking window 14 → customers can pick any allowed weekday from tomorrow through the next two weeks.
Exclude public holidays
When enabled, known public holidays for your store's region are automatically blocked from selection.
Time slots
Offer delivery windows within a day (e.g. 9am–12pm, 12pm–3pm).
- Check Enable time slots.
- Set Start time and End time for the overall window (e.g. 09:00 – 17:00).
- Set Slot duration — length of each slot (e.g. 03:00 for 3-hour windows).
- Optionally cap Orders per slot and Products per slot (0 = unlimited).
After a customer selects a date, the picker shows the available time slots for that day. Slots follow the same capacity limits as your daily settings.
Per-date slot overrides
Use the Time slots tab to override slots for specific dates (e.g. shorter hours on Christmas Eve).
Display options
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Field label | Label shown above the picker on the cart (e.g. "Choose delivery day") |
| Date format | How the selected date is displayed (e.g. DD/MM/YYYY) |
| Enabled | Turn the calendar on or off without deleting it |
| Require a delivery date to check out | When on, checkout is blocked until a date is selected (cart block + checkout gate) |
| Hide for local pickup orders | Skip this calendar when the cart uses local pickup shipping |
Save settings
Click Save settings in the top-right of the Settings page. The button stays visible while you scroll — you do not need to scroll to the bottom.
Exceptions
For one-off blocked dates (store closed, public holiday not in the auto list), use the Exceptions tab:
- Open Exceptions.
- Add a date and choose Blocked (or capacity override if supported).
- Save.
Exceptions take precedence over weekday availability.
