Delivery dates on your orders
When a customer picks a delivery date and completes checkout, AppsTint saves that date on the order so you can see it in your Shopify admin and use it for fulfilment, Flow automations, and exports.
Where the date appears on an order
Open any order in your Shopify admin. The chosen date is saved in two places:
- Additional details — a clearly labelled note (for example, "Delivery Date"). This is the easiest place to spot the date when picking and packing.
- Metafields / Delivery date field — a proper dated field on the order. Because it's a real date field, you can use it in Shopify Flow, order filters, and exports (CSV, fulfilment apps, and so on).
If you run multiple calendars, each one saves its own date with its own label, so an order can carry more than one delivery date.
The Orders calendar in the app
For day-to-day planning, use the built-in Orders view:
Apps → AppsTint → Delivery Calendar → your calendar → Orders
- A month grid showing how many orders are booked for each date
- Click a date to see the list of orders for that day
- Products are grouped by the calendar they belong to
This is the quickest way to see your fulfilment workload for any day.
When the date appears
In most cases the delivery date is saved on the order as soon as it's placed. On some Shopify plans it can take a few seconds to appear — if you've just placed a test order and don't see it yet, refresh the order page after a moment.
Check it with a test order
- Place a test order on your store and pick a delivery date.
- Open the order in your Shopify admin.
- Look under Additional details for the labelled date.
- Look in the order's Metafields / Delivery date field for the same date.
If you can see the note but not the metafield field straight away, wait a few seconds and refresh — it's still being saved.
