Install and enable

This guide covers activating Upsell inside AppsTint. Theme and checkout blocks are added in the next guide.

Step 1 — Install AppsTint

1. Install AppsTint from the Shopify App Store.
2. Open Apps → AppsTint in your Shopify admin.

Step 2 — Activate Upsell

1. On the AppsTint Apps home, find Upsell & Cross-sell.
2. Click Activate.
3. Click Open app to open the Upsell overview.

You should see the offers list (empty if this is your first time) and a 30-day analytics summary at the top.

Step 3 — Confirm the app is running

1. Create a quick test offer (name only, one product, Cart page placement) — see Create offers for detail.
2. Set status to Active and save.
3. Add the Upsell Offers block to your cart page — see Placements & theme setup.
4. Open your storefront cart with an item in it. The test offer should appear within a second or two.

If nothing appears, check:

• Upsell is still activated on the Apps grid
• The offer is Active and has Cart page enabled
• The theme block placement matches Cart page
• Triggers are not excluding your test cart (try a simple offer with no triggers first)

Deactivating Upsell

Click Deactivate on the Apps grid. All offers stop immediately — the theme block stays in your theme but renders nothing. Your offers and analytics data are kept.
