Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see any offers on my store?

  1. Is Upsell activated on the AppsTint Apps grid?
  2. Is the offer Active (not Draft or Paused)?
  3. Did you add the Upsell Offers block with the correct placement?
  4. Do triggers exclude your test cart? Try an offer with no triggers first.
  5. Is the frequency cap hiding the offer from a shopper who already saw it?

Can I show different offers on cart vs checkout?

Yes. Create separate offers with different placements, or one offer with multiple placements enabled.

Do thank-you upsells add to the existing order?

No. Thank-you and customer-account accepts start a new checkout for the upsell product. This is a Shopify platform constraint for completed orders.

Why doesn't my fixed price apply at checkout?

Fixed price line enforcement uses Shopify Cart Transform, available on Shopify Plus stores. On other plans, the offer still shows the discounted price in the UI; verify how Shopify calculates the final line at checkout.

What happens when I deactivate Upsell?

Offers stop immediately. Blocks remain in the theme but render nothing. Data is preserved when you re-activate.
